Welcome

Facilities and visitors are welcome anytime. We do suggest the hours from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Children of all ages may visit. We encourage you to make use of our attractive dining room, lounge, and patio during visits. We also will be happy to assist you with special occasion gatherings, such as birthday and anniversary parties, so feel free to notify our Activities Department.

We encourage our residents to be dressed in street clothes (medical condition permitting) while dining, in the lobby or lounge areas, and during activities. ALL clothing items must be clearly marked with a permanent marking pen and all items need to be logged on the resident’s inventory sheet in the Resident’s medical chart.

Our in-house laundry is available to provide service for personal clothing. Items requiring special care or dry cleaning cannot be accommodated by our Laundry Department. Unidentified clothing will be kept by the Laundry Department. If items are not claimed after 30 days, they will be discarded.

Food from home must be checked in with the charge nurse before given to the resident to determine compatibility with the Resident’s diet/medication regimen. Please do not leave perishable items or amounts that cannot be readily consumed with residents. Snack food must be stored in sealed plastic containers and dated.

We encourage visitors to eat with our residents. Please notify the Business Office when you plan to have a meal. There is a charge of $2.50 per meal.
